Musicals and The Environment

Together we can make a big difference

We can change the world together if we all do our bit”

There are many organisations that have focused on the vital work of caring for our forests and tree planting initiatives and campaigns. Each of them can be supported in a variety of ways, from donations to campaigning, signing petitions and tree planting events.

A few of the largest and most local ones are listed below:

The Woodland Trust –

UK's largest woodlands conservation charity

Set up to protect and campaign on behalf of this country’s woods, plant trees, and restore ancient woodland for the benefit of wildlife and people.

The Heart Of England Forest

The forest stretches across the heart of England – from the ancient Forest of Arden, south to the edge of the Vale of Evesham.

The National Forest

The National Forest is right in the heart of the country, embracing 200 square miles of the Midlands. It spans across parts of Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire and aims to link the two ancient Forests of Charnwood and Needwood. With a history of coal mining and heavy industry, the landscape is now that of rolling farmland, ancient forests and new planted woodlands.
